Following on from Mr Tyre Trusts 2023, we welcome you to this year’s instalment. Mr Tyre Trusts is our annual award scheme to select and spotlight destinations throughout the UK that are worth the drive. 

Whether it’s an adventurous day tobogganing or an exploration of historic cave systems, Central England has got a lot to offer families. Here at Mr Tyre, we’ve hand-picked the best attractions across the region, handily highlighting our closest branch too.

So without further ado, let’s introduce our winners! 

National Tramway Museum

Located in the Crich Tramway Village, the National Tramway Museum is a fascinating deep dive into transport history. With everything from a period street recreation to indoor exhibitions, there’s plenty to see and do. You can even take a ride on the trams yourself or have a wander along the nearby sculpture trail. 

Little Moreton Hall

Nearest Mr Tyre: Congleton

This striking Tudor manor house is a sight to remember. With an impressive decorative exterior that’s iconic of the time period, you’ll certainly know when you’ve arrived. What’s most interesting about this National Trust property is the crooked appearance and wonky angles. City of Caves
